Welcome to beautiful Kahshe Lake!

Our cottage is located 2 hours north of Toronto, near Gravenhurst, Ontario. Situated on a granite cliff, surrounded by white pines, this 1400sf cottage and sleeping cabin has beautiful views and sunsets, which you can enjoy from the 40’ screened-in porch. This is a boat-access cottage (no road), with parking and water taxis available at the 2 nearby marinas. Paddle along the shoreline on our 2 SUPs, explore the many islands on our 2 kayaks, or swim in the deep water directly off our dock. Starlink Wifi. Sleeps 6.

Large open-concept living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, + sleeping cabin (or writing studio) with screened-in porch.

  • 40’ Muskoka Room / Screened-in Porch

  • Bedroom 1 (2 x XL twins, pushed together to make a king), ensuite, screened-in porch; Bedroom 2 (bunk bed with 2 x twin); Bedroom 3 (queen); Sleeping cabin (2 x twin)

  • 2 bathrooms, including the ensuite

  • Oven, BBQ, toaster, coffee maker, french press, blender, coffee grinder.

  • Ceiling fans or window fans in every room; no air conditioning (this is only an issue for 1-2 days in July and August, solved by jumping in the lake just before bed)

  • 2 SUPs, 2 adult kayaks, 2 children’s kayaks, 1 lilypad, swimming buoys. Rowboat on the dock is not for use.

  • 42 stairs from dock to cabin - not suitable for young children under 6 and those with mobility issues

  • Water is deep 10’

  • washer/dryer

  • if bringing your own boat, a slip at Rockhaven can be arranged. Please note the lake has many unmarked rocks so proceed with caution.
